From Kaiti’s Laughing Raven Kitchen:
Maple Glazed Salmon
~ delicious with both Coho and King salmon ~
1½ cup tamari or soy sauce
¾ cup maple syrup or honey
¼ cup olive oil *optional ~ a splash of sesame oil *
4½ tablespoons fresh ginger, coarsely chopped
4½ cloves fresh garlic, chopped
¼ cup mirin *optional *
1½ tablespoon sesame seeds *optional *
Allow ½ pound of salmon per serving. Marinate salmon for 3-4 hours
in gallon Zip-lock bag.
Be sure to pat fish dry before grilling on well-oiled
barbecue.
Salmon is done when pieces flake with a fork. 6-8 minutes.
Serve hot and enjoy!
